About me
I’m an experienced freelance web developer, based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
I help businesses take control of their online presence by providing attractive, dynamic websites with a focus on clean design and usability.
Specialities
I specialise in front-end web coding, that is to say HTML, CSS and PHP. That usually means I convert designs into working websites, though I also design and develop websites from scratch. I also know a fair bit about Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and getting websites noticed.
I have a strong background in Content Management Systems (CMS), particularly WordPress, enabling my clients to easily manage their website – with only minimal computing knowledge required.
Work history
I have 5 years experience in web development, both freelance and for a large company. You can see some of my work for yourself in my portfolio.
I was educated at the University of Northumbria where I studied Multimedia Computing.
